Selecting the package that's right for you

Selecting the package that's right for you

"Don't judge a book by it's cover...Don't judge a book by it's cover...Don't, ah forget it "

We all do it and that's why picking the right product is so important. We always tell people you have 2 considerations:

1. The first and most important thing, make sure whatever you choose "speaks to you."
This product will ultimately represent you, all your hard work and embody everything you are trying to accomplish. Do your best to listen to your gut and select the package that helps tell your story the best.

2. Now all that being said, try to be practical.
You might want to do a 6 panel CD digipak with a poster fold but it might not be in the budget or you might be stepping on a plane and can only fit 10 DVD Cases, whereas you could bring 50 sleeves!

Here are a few questions you should ask yourself to try and figure out what you're trying to accomplish.

What's the purpose of what I'm doing? Will I be giving them away or selling them?

If you're giving them away, you may want to look at our budget packaging versus if you are selling them, this may increase your budget. You're more likely to make a sale if you step up your packaging, this shows your potential customer that you are taking things seriously and in turn they should take you seriously.

Will I be mailing them out?

If you are thinking of mailing the discs out then you might want to consider staying away from some of the rigid plastic packaging. The reason being is that jewel cases if they aren't properly packaged can break in the mail and padded envelopes add to your shipping costs. Why not consider board packaging like the 2 or 4 Panel Sleeves. They're look great, they give your discs the support they need, they weigh less and they won't break in the mail!

What's my budget?

Needless to say, you are the only one who can answer this question. We'd love to go all out and give you the biggest fanciest package we have but if you're working with a 100$ budget we'll have to get creative to make the simple packaging stand out. Oh, but don't worry we've done this before, maybe you've heard of Drake?

Who is going to receive them?

Making CDs is great but if you're audience doesn't have a CD player then it might not be the best choice. That's why we offer USB keys and download cards!

In conclusion, take some time, surf our website and think about how good you're going to feel when it's all done and you're opening and touching your product for the first time. That's our favorite part, seeing how happy you are!
